Participants Code Of Conduct

Work equally hard for yourself and your teammates. Your team’s performance will benefit and so will you.

Be a good sport. Applaud all good plays whether they are made by your team or the opposition.

Treat all participants in cricket as you like to be treated. Do not bully or take unfair advantage of another competitor.

Cooperate with your coach, teammates and opponents. Without them there would be no competition.

Participate for your own enjoyment and benefit, not just to please parents and coaches.

Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every young person regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.

Show respect for all children on all sessions, treating them as they would wish to be treated.

Swearing, abusive and hurtful language is not acceptable. Aggressive behavior or violence cannot be tolerated

Show respect for all personal property and the facilities.

Show respect for all staff and participants. Listen to and follow instructions of the staff team.

One child’s behavior will not be allowed to endanger or disrupt the other participants in the group by absorbing or distracting the supervising staff.

Not take food/drinks in the nets or indoor areas.
-
Not chew gum or sweets whilst being coached.
Abide by the net safety rules:

No activity in the nets without a coach in attendance.

Do not swing bats, hit balls etc. without being told to do so.

No throwing of balls unless asked to do so in a controlled drill situation.
-
Do not throw hard balls at the wickets unless asked to do so.

Do not walk in front of the bowling machines at any time. Stay in safe area as specified by the coach.

Do not bowl until the previous player is in a safe position or the batsman/coach is ready.

Always face the batsman when he is playing a shot.
-
Watch the ball at all times.

Wear protective equipment as specified by the coach in attendance.
-
No swinging or jumping on the nets.
